BCA Analyzer: plate reader to protein concentration
A BCA assay is the most routine measurement in a protein lab, and it usually ends in a hand-built spreadsheet. BCA Analyzer replaces the spreadsheet: upload the plate reader's export, click wells to mark standards and samples, and read off concentrations and dilution volumes.
01What it does
- Reads the instrument's file. Exports from Tecan, BioTek Gen5, and SoftMax Pro, with the plate layout detected automatically.
- One plate map. Assign standards, samples, and blanks by clicking or dragging across wells.
- Curve and QC. Fits the standard curve, flags replicates that disagree and samples outside the standard range, and shows the math.
- Dilution prep. Solves for the volumes to bring every sample to a target concentration, as a printable table.
- Reports. Excel and PDF exports for the notebook.
